Experts are cautioning that the strength of the storm could reach a G3 (strong) or even G4 (severe) level. Such intense solar activity has the capability to disrupt power systems, interfere with satellite operations, and hinder radio communications. As the Space Weather Prediction Center notes, despite the gradual weakening of the coronal mass ejection, the heightened solar wind conditions could still lead to significant cosmic activity.
