OnePlus Announces Return to T-Series with Compact and Powerful OnePlus 13T

After a three-year hiatus, OnePlus has re-entered the T-series realm with the launch of the OnePlus 13T, showcasing a unique approach to compact flagship smartphones. Unveiled in China, the device emphasizes ergonomics while boasting high-end specifications. The OnePlus 13T features a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, striking a balance between premium visual experience and battery efficiency. Measuring just over 150mm in height and 72mm in width, the OnePlus 13T is designed to facilitate one-handed operation—an increasingly sought-after trait as smartphone dimensions grow larger. Notably, the device integrates an optical fingerprint scanner and a new 'Shortcut Key' that replaces the traditional Alert Slider, allowing users to toggle sound profiles and launch apps easily. Arushi Chawla, a Senior Research Analyst, noted that users prioritize a seamless one-handed experience for various tasks, including gaming and taking selfies, with many consumers emphasizing the significance of a pleasant ‘in-hand feel’ and customizable features for enhanced personal usage. The OnePlus 13T is priced competitively at CNY 3,399 (approximately $446) for the base model and CNY 4,499 (about $617) for the higher-end version, and while its initial launch is China-focused, OnePlus has a history of global releases following domestic unveilings.
